Shakira, who is well known for her performances at previous opening ceremonies, will reportedly be one of the performers.
There have also been rumors about Dua Lipa, BTS, Black Eyed Peas, J Balvin, Nora Fatehi, and Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie as potential performers.
Late in September, American rapper Lil Baby unveiled the World Cup’s official anthem. Shortly after, he tweeted to confirm that he would be participating in the competition in some way.
